Unsecured Loans: Demystify Their Real Meaning

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=N_Sachdeva]N Sachdeva It is said that necessity is the mother of invention. It indeed is. For people who cannot offer collateral, a special category of loans by the name of unsecured loans was invented. Are you unfamiliar with the usage of financial jargon? Then let us uncloak this mystery that surrounds unsecured loans. Unsecured loans are loans that are not secured against any property. In other words, in order to draw out an unsecured loan, you do not have to offer any collateral. Collateral is nothing but a guarantee offered for a loan in the form of some solid entity, which is usually a home. Since an [http://www.loans11.co.uk/unsecured-personal-loan.html]unsecured loan does not demand any collateral, therefore, for a lender it becomes a high-risk proposition. Because unlike secured loans, if you fail to pay back your unsecured loan, the lender cannot sell off your home to extract his money. To offset this risk, most lenders levy a very high rate of interest on unsecured loans. The interest rate on your loan will further escalate if you have an unimpressive credit history. This implies that if you have had missed payments in the past on your other borrowings or credit cards, then your credibility as a borrower goes down. This further increases the lenders risk and it prompts him to shoot up the rate of interest. However, you can convince your credit worthiness to the lender by showing a stable job history and a steady income. If the arrears on your credit happened a long time back and you settled them thereafter, then this point can also go in your favour. Moreover, due to the fierce competition in the already saturated lending market, you will find a lot of lenders willing to give you exceptionally low rates of interest on your unsecured loan. But you must not make any haste in choosing your loan. Because as they say haste makes waste, so you must check your loan agreement for any hidden charges. The good thing about unsecured loans is that there are no restrictions on their usage. You can use them in any way you like be it for a car purchase, home improvements, to pay off your debts and even to finance your wedding. So, now you have a solution to all your financial needs in the form of an unsecured personal loan. When your garden is simply nestled in an open space, then you have the reason to fuss about the coming of the harsh seasons of winter and fall. There are a lot of reasons why you must resort to building a greenhouse for your flowers. Your prospect plan for a greenhouse for the flowers does not have to be really expensive. If you are out of cash, then you may erect something which is protective for your plants yet friendly to your available budget. What is most important is that the greenhouse will be able to secure a dry and warm environment to your flowers especially when the temperature outside seems the least friendly. Aside from conceptualizing the physical structure of the greenhouse for your flowers, you must also dwell on the provisions that you need to make regarding the water and heat supply. Assumption Based Marketing Vs. Fact Based Marketing

Friday, January 25th, 2008

By Shawn Meldrum One of the most common mistakes in marketing is making decisions based on assumptions rather than fact. You think of an idea for a marketing piece and believe that it is a great idea. You start using the idea with no tracking mechanism that would allow you to measure the results of that piece. Then if business happens to come in you assume that it must be working and continue to spend time and money on a method that may or may not actually be working. Frankly, I don’t want to spend a dime (or a minute of my time) on marketing that I can’t measure. There are two reasons for this. The most obvious reason is - I want to know if I am wasting my efforts on something that doesn’t work at all. The second reason is - if the marketing piece is working I want to know how well. I want to be able to compare it to my other marketing efforts and determine where my resources are best spent. I also want to be able to test variations of the piece and see if I can improve the response rate. An improvement in response rate adds directly to the bottom line because it doesn’t cost any extra. In other words, if I have a choice between spending $300 on an ad and getting 10 responses or spending the same $300 and getting 20 responses I’d rather have the 20 every time. That’s a no-brainer, right? Yet so often I see marketers using unproven ads and neglecting to test and see if they can improve response rates. That’s one reason I like using free recorded message lines as a response mechanism so much. When the person calls to hear the recorded message they enter an ID number from the ad they read. Each ad or marketing piece can be assigned a unique ID number so that I can know exactly how many responses came as a direct result of that particular piece. Knowing your numbers and tracking every single ad can save you time and money, and making decisions based on fact is much more profitable and enjoyable than making them based on assumptions. Cleansing and Detoxification of the Body

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

By Michael McCright “What is the purpose” and “why would I want to cleanse or detoxify” are the questions I hear most often. Additional questions are “how do I go about getting a cleanse accomplished” and “how will it affect my lifestyle / do I have to go on a special diet?” Before we talk about the purpose, we should answer the question of “why should I cleanse”. We should realize by now that there are some bad things in the environment that we just can’t avoid (without becoming a hermit and retiring to some remote mountain in Tibet). The cars we drive emit emissions that are detrimental to our health. When we fill up at the gas station, we breathe in the fumes of the gasoline, which adds toxins to our body. When we take a shower, our bodies absorb the chemicals (fluoride and chlorine) that have been added to purify and keep the water from developing bacteria and other harmful critters. Body lotions have known carcinogens such as (DEA or TEA), and other chemicals like propylene glycol (anti-freeze). When the lotion is applied to the skin, these chemicals are also absorbed through the skin. These and many other toxins are floating around in our blood streams, stored in our fat, clogging up our livers, and causing problems with our elimination (resulting in constipation or diarrhea). Whether you want to get rid of allergies, cure exhaustion, eliminate kidney problems, tumors or anything else, a place to start is a detoxification or cleansing of the body. The bloodstream is probably the most heavily-laden system in the body, when it comes to toxins. As food is digested, the nutrients and toxins are absorbed into the bloodstream. Toxins pass through the skin and are picked up by the blood for disposal or storage. Fat in the body is very soluble and is able to store many of the toxins taken in. The Liver is the organ responsible for neutralizing foreign substances, breaking them down into inert products before dumping them into the intestine via the bile acids. There they can be eliminated from the body via the normal elimination process. That will happen as long as the small and large intestine are not all clogged up. If the Liver is sluggish or slow, then the toxins will remain circulating in the bloodstream. These toxins will continue to contaminate the cells instead of providing the nourishment that the cells need. By the same token, if the small and large intestines are not functioning efficiently, you won’t be able to absorb or assimilate the nourishment that the cells need. The way to tell if your small and large intestines are functioning efficiently is via the transit time. Your transit time is the time it takes for a bite of food to go from the mouth, through the digestive system and be eliminated. The transit time in a normally functioning digestive system should be less than 21 hours. The average person eating a normal western diet will have eight full meals of undigested food and waste matter within their digestive system. This indicates that the transit time is over 21 hours and the potential for reabsorbing and re-circulating all of those same toxins via the blood is a good possibility. To do a proper cleanse we must start with the Colon cleanse first, then cleanse the Liver and finally detoxify the blood. At the end of the process we can start a weight loss program and start eliminating those toxins stored in our fat layers. Some people make detoxification a complicated ordeal, however detoxification can be a very simple process. For an Herbologist, choosing herbs that provide specific characteristics is a simple process. Choosing ones that have a synergistic effect and work well together can be more challenging and requires an expert in the field. The Cleansing Tea we’ve chosen for the bowel cleanse, was formulated by experts and contains the following herbs: Senna Pod, Senna Leaf, Frangula Bark, Barberry Bark, Chinese Rhubarb Root, Ginger Root, Chamomile Flower, Raspberry Leaf, Fennel Seed, Lemon Grass Herb, Peppermint Leaf, Orange Peel, and Cayenne Fruit. Maintaining your regular diet and adding two to three cups of tea per day is simple, easy, and uncomplicated. You adjust how fast your cleansing process happens by steeping your tea bag more or less, adjusting and adapting the cleansing process to your body and digestive system. After a good colon cleanse, it is time to thin the bile acids and get the liver optimized. This is accomplished using some herbal tablets formulated to enhance the liver function. The proprietary blend of Dandelion (root) extract, milk thistle (seed) extract, blessed thistle (herb) extract, plus some Vitamin A, C, E, and calcium synergistically and gently work to bring the liver back to a full functioning condition. Once the liver detoxification has been accomplished, it is time to start removing the toxins from the blood and the body. We use another tea formulated for just that purpose. This ancient formula comes from an Indian tribe in Canada. A Canadian nurse, Rene Caisse, working with those tribes found it to be very beneficial for many ailments. Following with tradition and with something that works, we have utilized the basic formula. Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel Root, Chinese Rhubarb Root, Slippery Elm Bark Powder are the major ingredients. It is suggested that you drink in one quarter cup amounts throughout the day allowing a gentle detoxification to transpire. Folks it can’t get any simpler than that. No complicated formulas or diets or brews to concoct. Some people prefer their tea hot and some cold and some like sun tea, once again it doesn’t matter. Use the process, allow the body to come into balance, start to assimilate the nutrients it requires and watch your health improve. Remember, it’s the process that counts and the journey will take as long as it takes. Enjoy it when you can. May your life be filled with much health and abundance! What has Life-Force got to do with Natural weight loss?

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

By Glen Rees In a word? Everything! What’s that you say?EVERYTHING! The life-force seems to be unknown in the western world apart from occasional references to energy or Vitality. The Chinese call it Chi The Indians call it Prana The Greeks call it Pneuma The Jews call it Manna The Japanese and Koreans call it Ki. By whatever name you choose to call it, IT GOVERNS YOUR BODY’S WHOLE CAPACITY TO REGENERATE and HEAL. Over the past 24 years we’ve found a missing key to Natural weight loss lay in the observation that as we age a middle-age-spread or ’spare tyre’ is commonly noted. This ’spread’ is a sure sign of the diminishing of not only our life force & our immunity (we note that when this happens we are much more prone to chronic disease too) AS WELL AS a loss of our cells to properly organise our fat-to-muscle ratio’s and we begin to store food as fat which places much more stress on our kidneys, liver, heart, joints, etc. To put it another way, this loss of orderly cell lay-down then results in fatty cell laydown & NOT muscle lay-down. So in truth, a diminishing Life force (aging processes) results in a diminishing immunity & a diminishing capacity of the organisational capacity of your Life force to properly organise a proper (healthy) Fat-to-Muscle ratio. What some mistakenly call your failing metabolism is actually your failing Life force. Herein lay the full secrets not only to healthy (& longterm) weightloss but also to tissue regeneration AND possibly even tissue rejuvenation… Time will tell. Glen F Rees BSc, ND. Which Weed Killer Should You Use

Monday, January 21st, 2008

By Andrew Bicknell Nearly everyone who owns a house and has a yard wants a lush green lawn thats the envy of the neighborhood. There are of course those few out there who dont care much about their yard but for those of us who want that nice yard finding a weed killer that works is a definite must. Weeds are unsightly, attract pests and some of them can be downright harmful to our families and pets. A weed killer will solve most weed problems if you choose the right product for the application you need. When it comes to selecting a weed killer for you lawn there are some general guidelines you should follow. There are several different types of weed killers on the market today and the type you by will depend on the type of weeds you have. If you have a general population of weeds then a broad spectrum weed killer will do the job. These weed killers have the ability to kill a wide range of weeds. If your lawn is overrun by a more specific type of weed such as dandelions or crabgrass it may bet better to get a weed killer that is specifically made to kill those types of weeds. A broad spectrum weed killer will work but it may not work as well as an herbicide manufactured for that particular weed type. You also need to be aware that some weed killers may cause damage to your yard if you dont follow the directions carefully. Weed killer is after all poison and if you put too much of it down it will kill your grass. It is also important to know when to apply a weed killer. Using a pre-emergent in the middle of summer will do little good after all the weeds have already started growing. By following the directions you will get the best results when it comes to killing weeds. Also be sure to read all the warning labels before you use a weed killer. If you have children or pets it is important to know how long to wait before it is safe to let them play in the yard again. Do you want to learn more about weed killers? The Origins of Some Wedding Traditions

Sunday, January 20th, 2008

By Lorna Mclaren One of the most well-known wedding traditions revolves around the following rhyme: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed,Something Blue, and a Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe. There are many other wedding traditions that are meant to bring good luck but it is this poem that many brides try to ensure that they abide by. Of course many wedding traditions depend on the nationality or religion of the bride and groom but this one dates back to Victorian England and to a protestant Christian ceremony. The Something Old part of this and other similar wedding traditions represents the link with the brides family and the past. To comply with this part of the wedding traditions it is common for many brides choose to wear a piece of antique family jewellery or a mothers or grandmothers wedding dress. Something New indicates good fortune and success in the brides new life. The wedding gown is often chosen as the new item for these wedding traditions but it can be almost anything. Something Borrowed is to signify that the brides friends and family will always be there for her. The borrowed object might be something small and many brides have a lace handkerchief to comply with this part of the wedding traditions. The Something Blue is the symbol of faithfulness and loyalty and is one of the cheekier of the wedding traditions as many brides-to-be choose to wear a blue garter! The final part of this rhyme of wedding traditions is often neglected as it could be rather uncomfortable for the bride but a Silver Sixpence in her Shoe is to wish the bride wealth in her new married life.
